On the 30th of April, polish national team will play against Slovenia (start at 16.30h) and begin its participation in the Youth (Women) European Championships, in Ankara. On the 17th of April, Andrzej Pecia’s team will start its last phase of preparations to the Championships by the training camp in Szczyrk.

Furthermore, five days later young players from Germany will arrive to Szczyrk. Polish National Team has already played with them during the European Championships Qualification Tournament, in Kienbaum, at the beginning of January 2011. –Germans have a very strong team, surely they will be favorites of the Championships, therefore, we will benefit from the sparing matches against them-said Andrzej Peć. Matches against German Youth (Women) National Team will perform on the 23rd, 24th and 25th of April. Then, our team will spent two more days in Sosnowiec and depart to Ankara afterwards.

The Polish National Team will play not only against Slovenia, but also against Turkey, Serbia, Czech Republic and Spain. As we all remember, during the tournament in Kienbaum, coach Peć’s team eliminated the National Team of Russia, therefore, as a result, Russia for the first time in history will not participate in the Championships, in this age category.
